Misato gathered a new crew. Unfortunately, most of the new team members aren’t portrayed at all. Only Toji’s little sister, Sakura, gets a little bit of screentime.

Eva-01 has been transformed into WUNDER, WILLE’s new command station and battleship.

Misato hesitates using the DSS choker on Shinji

The DSS choker is a device WILLE put around Shinji’s neck to prevent the Fourth Impact by killing him.

Fuyutsuki shows Shinji a picture of his mother. On the right: someone who looks like Mari (?).

Fuyutsuki criticizes Gendo

Fuyutsuki realizes Gendo is willing to pay every price to reach his goals.

Kaworu’s death (?)

Kaworu takes Shinji’s DSS choker and puts it around his own neck. After Shinji picks up the spears, Kaworu gets killed by the DSS choker. Shinji is devastated. However, while Mari goes after Shinji, Kaworu seems to be flying away into a bright light.
